50% Cash Rebate on Donations
You can make a campaign donation to the Re-elect Mayor Rob Burton Campaign and get back 50% of your donation as a cash rebate after the election from the Town. The maximum rebate is $375 (for a $750 contribution). The minimum rebate is $50 (for a $100 contribution). The maximum contribution anyone may make to a mayoral candidate is $750 (which gives you a $375 rebate). This program of campaign contribution rebates was passed and implemented for the 2003 election by the Town Council after studying similar programs in other Ontario towns and cities. You will receive information on how to claim your rebate with your donation receipt, so it couldn't be easier.
