Oakville Trafalgar High School-based robotics team — the Hydrators — recently captured first place at the Global Innovation Award competition in Washington, D.C., competing with more than 52,000 teams worldwide.

The Hydrators are one of the local teams that vies in the younger division, FIRST LEGO League — for students between the ages of nine and 14.
